Polysemy Blog!

Yes, the blog you all've been waiting for is up and running. I, personally, am quite excited about this because, with the whole Polysemy crew blogging in one place, those collaborative juices that can only come out of collaborative endeavors are inevitably gonna start brewin'.

Blogs created by individuals are cool, but the coolness of collaborative blogs is on a completely new level. It's kinda like that holon thing. Individual bloggers are like atoms, but collaborative bloggers, while still being atoms, become parts of a molecule. Or maybe a better metaphor would be individual musicians coming together to form a band. Yeah. And our band is called The Woodshed. Or maybe individual blogging is like masturbating alone whereas collaborative blogging is like having group sex. Ok, ok, that's kinda stretching it. It's really more like a circle jerk. No, no, that's not right either. Hmmm... I think I'll just stick with the musicians/band metaphor. At any rate, regardless of what metaphor(s) you resonate with, you should check out our blog because, with these amazingly talented individuals, it's bound to produce some amazing content.

(Also, if you haven't yet, check out the Polysemy Bookshelf as well, and subscibe to the magazine!)

ps. The blogage on this blog, the (w)hole, has already slowed down quite a bit, and it will probably stay that way for a while. So, if you're still interested in my work, check out The Woodshed.

Polysemy and Alex Grey

(cross posted from Zaadz)

Hello friends. I come bearing exciting news.

Firstly, Polysemy Magazine is offering subsciptions for $9 a year. That's pretty friggin' cheap if you ask me. You could do worse than drop a mere 9 bucks for the most kick-ass-est art magazine since the dawn of time. Yes, it's that good.

And for those who don't know what a magazine is: it's sort of like a blog, except with real paper and fewer typos. And for those who think the Polysemy crew should be bloggin' it up in the hizee, your wish may soon be fulfilled (wink wink). Stay tuned.

But first, subscrible to the magazigle.

Secondly, at the end of July, yours truly will be flying to New York to participate in a visionary art intensive with Alex and Allyson Grey. I'll have my video camera with me, and soon after my trip, you may end up seeing some footage of the Greys on Integral Naked. I'm really really really excited. I don't know if I'll have internet access while I'm up there, but you can expect at some point I'll be blogging about the experience. Perhaps not here at Zaadz, but definitely somewhere close by.
